Many people struggle to understand why the Church teaches what it does on certain controversial topics - other people want to hear the Church’s views so that they can form their own minds. The Pub Talks provide an opportunity for this and are a way in which the Church can be present in the midst of people’s lives - not just restricted to the four walls of the church building. The event will provide people with an informal and relaxed environment that people can engage with the important questions that are currently "in the air".
